West Lavington Sussex Parish Council is a tranquil civil village parish located in the Chichester district of West Sussex, bordering the town of Midhurst. The area is part of the South Downs National Park and offers beautiful surroundings of rolling countryside, woods, and farmland. With easy access to major cities like Chichester and London, West Lavington also has an excellent pub called The Royal Oak. The village features a private nursery school and the church of St Mary Magdalene, built in 1850. Residents are currently fighting to preserve the former home of notable Victorian MP Richard Cobden.
